District Updates, 5/27/2021
Below you will find links and information to important updates within the District.
Athletics Update: Rainier School District will begin allowing spectators up to 10% capacity of indoor spaces. We will remain conservative and limit a total of 80 people in the gym.
Because capacity is low, we will allow 2 family members per Rainier athlete. If space allows, we can also allow additional spectators once all athletes have had the opportunity to have two family members attend.
All persons must sign in using a contact tracing form (name, athlete name, phone number). Additionally, masks must be worn at all times by spectators.
This allowance will remain in effect while case rates allow and as long as family members follow protocols.
Pfizer Vaccine Clinic: The Rainier School District is partnering with Columbia County Public Health to offer a Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine clinic in early June on our campus. The Pfizer vaccine is currently approved for use for anyone ages 12 and older. Click here to access a survey if you or your student is interested in participating in the vaccine clinic. Please complete the survey by Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
Chromebook Returns: Seniors should have returned their Chromebooks this week. If your senior has not returned their Chromebook, they must return it to the high school office on or before Monday, June 7 in order to pick up their diploma. The following dates have been scheduled for grades PreK-11 students to return their Chromebooks:
